Headliners:

Mel & Him

We are thrilled to announce that the Evening Concert is being headlined by Mel & Him. Mel Winterflood one half of Mel & Him said “We are delighted to be headlining the Pershore Carnival Evening Entertainment, we are always happy to support local causes where we can, we love performing!”

Mel & Him are a lively, entertaining duo performing hits from the 80s, with a few newer and older classics mixed in. They have been popular on the Midlands music since 2014, when a fabulous school disco-themed party inspired them to take their favourite party tunes out on the road.

Singer Melanie has been a performer since childhood, and besides singing is also an accomplished clarinet and sax player. Guitarist Stuart has been a familiar face in bands around the country since the early 90s, and also creates all of the duo's backing tracks.

Stuart said "We're both children of the 80s and realised that there weren't many acts out there performing the songs we wanted to hear. We have a huge amount of fun in the studio recreating those 80s sounds, and even more fun putting smiles on the audience's faces!"

Mel went on to say "It's the best feeling when the music starts, people's faces light up and someone shouts 'TUUUUNE!' - you know you're on to a winner! We love it."
